Singing Group to Learn the Bradford on Avon Carols in Harmony
A free singing group to learn the Bradford on Avon carols in harmony started in 2017 and everyone really enjoyed it and came back the following year for more. So of course we’ve done it ever since. This yesar we’re adding a new carol to the repertoire called “Green Hills”, which is set in Somerset.
We meet every Saturday in November starting on the 7th November at 3pm in the club room behind the Dog & Fox in Bradford on Avon.
All parts will be taught ‘by ear’ so you don’t need to be able to read music. What’s more it’s free to get in. Don’t worry if you can’t make every session because you don’t have to commit to attending every week.
On the final session on 28th November there will be a special session with the carols band. Bring your friends to this one in particular because even if they don’t want to learn the harmonies they can familiarise themselves with the tunes and enjoy the atmosphere of singing with the band.
After that we sing them for real in the pubs.
